About SNS
Science News Service is a non-profit dedicated to science-based news and analysis, science-news journalists, and balanced, fact-based editorial writing by authors aligned with academia.
SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 are a fast-evolving situation. SNS is providing science-based news and analysis, focusing on face mask safety, during the pandemic. All related stories are available to all news outlets free by clicking on SNS News in the menu, then download the full quote version of the release using the MS Word button at upper right. Royalty free images and art accompany each release (jpeg, png, more formats on request). Outlets can make their own edited version with their own byline, or not. If used as is, we ask that you consider using the news-release-writer's byline and/or sourcing ScienceNewsService.com, and sending us a copy.
SNS also summarizes and reprints SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19-related content in the Public Domain published by the U.S. scientific community, by premium news publishers, and by federal-government-science laboratories. This information is provided under the "Public Domain" side of the site.
Readers, please browse SNS's original and public news content and share links with colleagues, friends and family.
